Honors College Membership Contract 
Current TTU or Transfer 

The aim of the Honors experience is to encourage openness of thought, breadth of education, and a desire for life-long learning. We offer our students numerous curricular and extra-curricular activities to further these goals. In order to take advantage of Honors opportunities, you will be required to: 
  • Enroll in at least one Honors course during your first semester of membership; 
  • Progress steadily in your Honors coursework, accruing at least 24 Honors credit hours by graduation; 
  • Earn a B- or better in all Honors courses; 
  • Maintain a 3.5 cumulative TTU GPA; 
  • Read and understand all Honors materials provided to you during your association with the Honors College, including the Honors Student Handbook, which can be accessed at http://honors.ttu.edu
If you understand and accept the above-mentioned Honors objectives and requirements, please confirm your membership in our incoming class by checking “Accept” below. 

If you do not wish to accept our offer of membership, please confirm your denial by checking “Decline” below. If you would like to share your reasons for declining the invitation, we would appreciate the information.

  • Progress steadily in your Honors coursework, accruing at least 24 Honors credit hours by graduation;
  • Earn a B- or better in all Honors courses;
  • Maintain a 3.5 cumulative TTU GPA;
  • Read and understand all Honors materials provided to you during your association with the Honors College, including the Honors Student Handbook, which can be accessed at www.honors.ttu.edu.

At present, you are being admitted to the Honors College with a “provisional standing.” You will achieve full standing as a member of the College at the end of your first semester in the Honors College pending a TTU grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

The deadline to notify the College of your final decision is May 1st; however, please communicate with us before then should your plans become final prior to this deadline.

  • Maintain a 3.5 cumulative TTU GPA; 
  • Read and understand all Honors materials provided to you during your association with the Honors College, including the Honors Student Handbook, which can be accessed at http://honors.ttu.edu
